At Codeable, we require tasks to be paid upfront, and we use escrow service to securely hold your money until you mark the task as complete, ensuring your expert is paid only when you’re fully satisfied with their work.

Hiring an expert and funding your project to get it started is simple!

When you are on your project's page, you can see a HIRE button below each of the names of the applied experts.

Once you click the HIRE button, a pop-up screen will display, asking you to confirm if you want to hire that expert.

After you confirm it, you will see the two payment options, Stripe and PayPal.

Click "CONTINUE TO Stripe", and you can fund the project safely via Stripe.

If you go with the PayPal option, you will be redirected to PayPal to fund your task securely.

After funding your task, you will see a popup window notifying you that the deposit was successful and the funds are held safe in our escrow account. Your expert is also notified to start working on your project.

Additional tasks are created by your expert within the project based on the mutual agreement. You can find all the additional tasks (and retainer tasks)on the right side of the project's page.

Clicking the "PAY NOW" button will not instantly charge your card, as Codeable does not store your card information.

You will see this page after you click the "PAY NOW" button.

If you use Link (Our payment provider, Stripe offers a product service called Link, where users can optionally click to save their bank card for future 1-click purchases), you will be asked to enter a code if you want to use the saved bank card.

Or you can choose to pay without Link by clicking the button "Pay without Link", and then you will see a page like this where you can enter the new card information.

Retainer tasks can be found in the same place as additional tasks by clicking the "VIEW ALL TASKS" button on the right side of the project's page.

Click the "PAY NOW" button to fund each retainer task using Stripe.
