How do I post a project for a specific expert?

Posting a new project for specific experts

Updated this week

More than 70% of Codeable clients return to work with the same experts again. If you’d like to continue working with a specific expert, or invite one or more experts to your new project, you can absolutely do that.

If your previous project is already complete, your expert can create additional tasks for any follow-up work. Alternatively, you can post a brand-new project and choose the expert(s) you’d like to work with.

There are two ways to post a project for specific experts.

Option A (recommended): Select expert(s) during project submission

When submitting a new project, you can select one or more preferred experts directly in the project submission form:

After filling out your project details, you’ll be asked whether you’d like to invite specific experts to work on your project. Simply select Yes, enter the name(s) of the expert(s) you’d like to invite, choose them from the list, and click Create project.

Option B: Post a project from an expert’s profile

You can also browse expert profiles here:
https://www.codeable.io/developers/.

From an expert’s profile, click the Hire button to go to the same project submission page, with that expert preselected. You can still add additional experts before submitting your project.

What happens after you post?

Both options work the same way: your project will be sent only to your selected expert(s) and will not be visible to other experts.

Please note:

  • Once a project is posted, preferred experts cannot be added or removed

  • If an expert doesn’t appear in the list, they may have set themselves as unavailable for new projects

If you don’t see the expert you’re looking for, feel free to contact our Support team. We’re happy to check their availability and reach out on your behalf.

Want to hear from more experts?

Selecting preferred experts is optional. If you leave this field empty, our system will match your project with the most suitable experts automatically.

If you’ve already posted a preferred project but would like to hear from more experts, just let us know — we can make your project public. You can also cancel the preferred project and post a new one if needed.

If you’re ever unsure, focus on clearly explaining what you want to achieve. We’ll help make sure your project reaches the right experts.
