Our Vetting & Hiring Process
Step 1. Application & Resume Review
The selection process starts with a comprehensive online application where we look for impeccable English language skills and a proven track record of professional WordPress and freelancing experience.
Step 2. Intro Video About Codeable
The applicant is taught about working on the Codeable platform and our high commitment to quality work. We highlight the differences between working on Codeable vs other platforms.
Step 3. Coding Quiz
The applicant takes a coding quiz of their choice, either front end (CSS and JS) or back end (PHP).
Step 4. Code Project
We check for technical knowledge, problem-solving ability, and code quality through a trial development task that is assessed by both our staff and by other experts.
Step 5. Live Interview
Applicants go through a comprehensive live interview where we check their customer service, communication, and technical skills to ensure that they are a good fit for the platform.
Step 6. Codeable Expert Certification Process
After being invited to join the platform, new experts must take and pass a series of courses in our learning platform. These courses cover a range of topics from our quality standards, to working with our partners, to GDPR. During this time, they also gain access to our exclusive Slack workspace, where they can learn from and collaborate with other experts.
Our Onboarding & Education
90 Day Onboarding
New experts begin working on real-life projects to demonstrate their skills and professionalism. We schedule check-in calls each month of their onboarding period to ensure they're on track and have the support they need from us.
Further Education
Experts at Codeable have access to a wide variety of educational opportunities, including additional courses, certification programs, and expert-hosted "Skills Chats" which are held monthly.
Ongoing Quality Monitoring
Beyond the vetting and onboarding stages, we regularly monitor experts' interactions with clients and other experts.
Should any issues arise, we have internal procedures for guiding the expert on the right path. If issues are recurrent, we do have a termination process.
