If you've funded a task with us before and wanted to use another different credit card to make a new payment to fund a new task, there is an easy process to add a new card.
When you are funding a new task, you can see in the image below, that there is a blue credit card icon. Click that so it will allow you to put in new card information.
About changing the card for retainer task payments
Once the retainer has been funded and up running, you can not change the card.
If you want to change the card for the retainer task, the only way is to cancel the current retainer and ask your expert to create a new retainer task. Both you and your expert can cancel the retainer at any time.
Please be aware that immediately after you put in new card information in the new retainer task, your card will be charged, and the retainer is set up and running, so your card will be charged every month, and your expert will get the payment each time one month after you are charged.

Does Codeable keep clients' credit card information on file?
No, we don't keep any of your credit card information on file.
If you wish to have our payment provider (SafeCharge) remove saved card information, we can remove it, and you just need to contact us in support via one of the following two methods:

- The live chat in the bottom right-hand corner of your screen.
